Welcome our Auction!
On offer today is a superb early Stereo 3lp set of Handels 'Messiah' recorded by Sir Malcolm Sargent with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. An absolute joy to be offering this sale! Also all three lps in the set are in wonderful condition.
As you very well know this is a very rare and sought after set which is almost impossible to find in stereo, and probably and one of the most sought after sets on the Columbia label!
This is a genuine 1959 UK STEREO 1st pressing 3lp set on the blue/silver Columbia "Stereophonic" label. All 3 lps come with original heavy paper polylined 'emitex' inner sleeves
Sleeve Condition : Excellent (please note on sleeve 1 there is a very small portion of print loss on the back. (Please see photo)
Record Condition : NR Mint. (Please note one side one label a very small written of silver ink marker)
Starting Price of £30 which you would agree is very reasonable for such a rare and sought after set.
