Sir Malcolm Sargent conducts the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra & The Huddersfield Choral Society

MONO recording, recorded in 1953, released in 1954

These are the 3 INDIVIDUAL LPs comprising the set - EMI Columbia 33CX 1146, 1147 & 1148 - original dark blue label & inner sleeves, made in Great Britain

NOT the 1959 box set CMS 806, which on the day of listing (January 13, 2024), I saw a copy for AUS$40

There was a "stereo" version, SMS 1006 released in 1965.

Also, not the later recording in stereo he made for Reader's Digest.

This is the first time I have seen all 3 LPs in the one place, as one set - rarely do you see a 70 year old recording in such great shape!

Please check photos for details of soloists, musical programming & condition of covers & LPs, which look pristine bar a superficial scratch on Side 6

I am selling as I do not have a mono cartridge to fully appreciate the glories of this recording.
