Description
Inherited from my dad. Vinyl has good shine, deep groove label. Van Gelder stamped in the dead wax. Side one is very clean. I couldn't see any hairlines. Plays with low surface noise and just some occasional soft pops here and there. Side two has one long hairline across the whole side and a second that runs thru the first and halfway thru the 2nd cut. The side plays thru fine though with no obvious audible issues due to the hairlines as far I as I could tell. I would say this side does have more light pops than the first side, but they are not repeating as if related to the hairlines. There are a few light spindle marks on side one and none that I could see on side two.
The VG sleeve is bright but does have signs of some moisture damage along the bottom edge, with a rubbing spot near the bottom. The back shows some discoloration near the bottom and spine, but there is no mildew smell. The back side has clean corners. The front spine corner has a little crease and some wear. The top edge has fair amount of shelf wear. The bottom edge has some wear. No splits. Please see the pics. Record will be shipped in proper Lp mailer with stiffeners, poly sleeve for the vinyl and corner protection.
