Description

This one is the original mono and deep-grooved 1st pressing of Hank Mobley's PECKIN' TIME. Blue Note Records BLP-1574. This is an original issue from Blue Note Records, not a reissue version of Classic Records or Analog Production. Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder with "RVG" and "EAR" stamped on the dead wax of both sides. No "R" and no "INC" on both sides. Address on labels: "BLUE NOTE RECORDS 47 WEST 63rd. NYC". The cover is also the 1st version with printed spine and laminated front cover. Address on back cover: BLUE NOTE RECORDS, 47 West 63rd St., New York 23.
The vinyl plays NM on both sides. Visually, vinyl is bright and glossy. But there is a small writing on Side 1's label and stamps on Side 2's label with few letter fading.
The cover is also NM. Clean, strong, no crack or split. The spine is intact and readable.
The record is play graded as well as visually. I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws.
My grading is as follows: M (perfectly like new), NM, NM-/VG++, VG+, VG, VG-, G, G-. You will be satisfied. And I will accept a free return. Please bid with confidence.
