You are bidding on an original mono pressing of the HANK MOBLEY QUINTET LP. This was released in 1957 by Blue Note Records and is catalog # BLP 1550. This is a Deep Groove pressing (see second set of photos). "RVG" and the Ear are on both run-off grooves.
We are play grading the vinyl at a conservative VG. There are no skips, the needle doesn't get stuck at any point and there are no flinch inducing pops. Most of this record plays at a higher grade but at certain points, most notably the last track, there are evident "clicks" and surface noise. Overall, this is still a very enjoyable listen.
The cover is generally in good shape with the exception of a nasty seam split on the top seam which is about 8 inches in length (see last photo). There is also a break in the spine about 3 inches in length.
