HANK MOBLEY “Roll Call” 1961 Deep Groove Blue Note “RVG” VG+ Vinyl
This is the 1961, 1st issue, Deep Groove, “47 West 63rd NYC,” Plastylite "ear," Laminated Sleeve, “Review Copy,” “RVG” stamped pressing of? HANK MOBLEY’s “Roll Call” on Blue Note BLP 4058.
VINYL is primarily VG+ with occasional light ticks, some repeating; surface has flat gloss. Music signal is powerful, clean. Many hairline marks, a couple feelable. Occasional surface noise, but music plays strong and dynamic. No distortion of instruments. Deep Groove “47 West 63rd NYC” labels are clean with minimal spindle marks. See photos.
LAMINATED “43 West 61st. New York 23” JACKET is MINT. Seams and spine solid. Back jacket is clean. Corners may be worn. Please see photos.
Record play tested using Pro-Ject Debut PRO turntable with Sumiko Ranier cartridge.
