HANK MOBLEY “Roll Call” P, RVG, LAM, Blue Note 4058 Mono Vinyl
This is the “RVG” stamped, Laminated Cover, "P" pressing of HANK MOBLEY’s “Roll Call” on the "47 West 63rd” labels of BLP 4058. Musicians include Hank Mobley, Freddie Hubbard, Wynton Kelly, Paul Chambers, Art Blakey.>
VINYL plays with consistent medium to medium-loud surface noise (i.e, static, ?? or ????, relative to the volume of the music/instruments), with pops and ticks (occ. repeating). But instruments are clean, strong, and full of tone. No distortion. No locked grooves. No Skips. Surface worn. Many hairline marks, a few feelable. (If you can’t feel it you won’t hear it). The "47 West 63rd” labels show pen writing on one side, wear with spindle marks. See photos.
LAMINATED COVER is in very nice condition, corners worn, some creasing on cover. Seams and spine very good. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS, INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23" back jacket shows aging, writing in black ink and red marker. See photos.
This LP was play tested. RECORD CLEANED ON AUDIO DESK SYSTEM ULTRASONIC VINYL CLEANER.
