HANK MOBLEY “Roll Call” RVG, P, LAM, Blue Note 4058 Mono Vinyl

This is the "RVG” stamped, Laminated Cover, P-pressing of HANK MOBLEY’s “Roll Call” on the "47 West 63rd” labels of Blue Note BLP 4058. Musicians include Hank Mobley - tenor saxophone, Freddie Hubbard – trumpet, Wynton Kelly – piano, Paul Chambers – bass, Art Blakey – drums.

VINYL plays with consistent low level surface noise (i.e, static, crackle, ??,????,relative to the volume of the music/instruments) with pops and ticks. Minor groovewear audible at opening of Side 2. Ensemble sections are dynamic and clear. Excellent treble response and clarity. No Skips. No locked grooves. No distortion. Good gloss, visually worn in spots. Many hairline marks, couple feelable. (If you can't feel it you won't hear it).  The "47 West 63rd” labels are generally clean with spindle marks, large stain Side 2. See photos.

LAMINATED COVER is in EXCELLENT shape, corners worn. Seams and spine nearly mint. "BLUE NOTE RECORDS INC., 43 West 61st St., New York 23" back jacket clean, with large stain at lower seam to corner. Please see photos.

This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. RECORD CLEANED ON ULTRASONIC AUDIO DESK SYSTEME VINYL PRO CLEANER.
