Description
On the Harbinger label 12 AE-100 from 1975, this is the MEGA-RARE second album by DAVE BIXBY
whose first album was 1970's "Ode To Quetzalcoatl". This one is ten tracks of cosmic
loner psychedelic Xian folk with 12 string & excellent vocals; A VERY HARD ALBUM TO FIND that
has sold in the mid-4 figures for excellent copies. The cover here has wear & a sticker on the
front as well as an area along the cover opening where part of the cover has worn off, perhaps
to slight water damage. The vinyl has some defects THAT ONLY AFFECT TRACK ONE ON EACH SIDE. There
is a tiny warp and what appears to be some kind of pressing flaw or heat damage that causes
several skips on both track ones. Side two has fewer skips than side 1, however. The pressing flaw
is visible across the entire side on each side of the record....but, does not cause any skips or
catches & only very minor noise in a few places. ASIDE FROM BOTH TRACK ONES, THIS RECORD PLAYS VERY
WELL. I've included two sound clips here, one from each side. Both are right in the middle of the
visible flaw. You can hear they play well. Other than the noticeable flaw, the vinyl appears to be
VG++. Given a hefty "3 stars" in Pokora's 4001 Record Collector's Dreams.
THE SOUND CLIP HERE IS FROM THE ACTUAL RECORD IN THIS LISTING & HAS NOT BEEN ALTERED.
