Description
HARD STUFF "BULLETPROOF" UK LP (Purple) TPSA-75055 VG+/M- Original pressing from 1972 of the 1970 hard rockin' power trio LP by Hard Stuff, featuring John Cann of Andromeda & Atomic Rooster fame on lead guitar & vocals, John Gustafson from Quatermass on bass & Paul Hammond also from the "Death Walks Behind You" era of Atomic Rooster on drums. Brought to Deep Purple's custom label w/EMI by Ian Gillan, they released one single as Bullet (an earlier take of "Hobo") but were threatened with a lawsuit by the Canadian bubble-gum group of the same name, so they changed their name to Hard Stuff. This, their first album of two ("Bolex Dementia" followed in 1973) was never released in the U.S. & originals are becoming increasingly hard to come by.
Side 1 1. Jay Time 2. Sinister Minister 3. No Witch At All 4. Taken Alive 5. Time Gambler (Rodney)
Side 2 1. Millionaire 2. Monster In Paradise 3. Hobo 4. Mr. Longevity- RIP 5. The Provider- Part One
Glossy laminated gatefold cover looks good but has light shelf wear, corner wear (especially on the upper right) & slight lamination separation on the lower left. It has no tears or split seams & is in VG+ condition. The record has the purple labels w/ the white "P" logo. It has received few plays & retains its sheen. There is a small name written in red w/initials under it on the white logo but not too obtrusively. It still rates a M- grading w/no scuffs or scratches.
