Description
A Canadian prog folk classic! This is an original 1975 vinyl LP gatefold Canadian pressing of Harmonium’s second studio album Les Cinq Saisons. The album is considered to be “one of the best transitional albums ever recorded and an essential item in Québec's music history”. In 2015, Rolling Stone magazine ranked it 36th in its list 50 Greatest Prog Rock Albums of All Time while Bob Mersereau listed it as the 56th greatest Canadian albums of all time in his 2007 book The Top 100 Canadian Albums.
Media Grading: VG
High gloss with some very light, short scratches as well as scuffs on both sides of the record.
Cover Grading: VG
Shelf wear including scuffed edges, light creasing, bumped corners, light indentations, mild isolated soiling (due to the uncoated, more absorbant coverstock used on these early pressings) and light creasing. No rips, no tears, no splits.
Insert Grading: G+
Light creasing and other signs of usage and light wear including some soiling and foxing/tanning.
Record is ultrasonically cleaned and housed in premium Mobile Fidelity-style rice paper-lined inner sleeve to better preserve the record.
Please see photos for more information — we’ve photographed all four corners to give you as much detail as possible. We are more than happy to provide more photos or answer any questions!
