Description

 

The next record I have on offer is ‘TENOR STUFF’ album recorded by HAROLD ASHBY and PAUL GONSALVES. This is a 1st pressing released on the COLUMBIA label. The catalogue number is 33SX 1379, released in 1961 and it is a MONO recording.

    Paul Gonsalves: Tenor Saxophone and Guitar.   

    Harold Ashby: Tenor Saxophone.

    Sir Charles Thompson: Piano.

    Aaron Bell: Bass.

    Jo Jones: Drums.

       Cover & Record Graded as Record Collector Book Guide.  

        

The laminated front cover is in VERY GOOD condition with some creasing and corner wear. The rear has discoloration and general ageing wear, the spine has clear readable text.     

The vinyl is in VERY GOOD condition still retaining a good shine, on Side1 track 2 does produce some clicks. Apart from the clicks the record plays excellent, a very enjoyable listen.  The labels are in Excellent condition.
