Description
LP Harold McNair – same title. RCA VICTOR Stereo SF 7969. Made in England by the Decca Company, London, from master recordings of RCA. Unique UK 1968 1st print/pressing issue (matrix.no. WGBS-0057/0058). Sleeve printed in England by Clout & Baker Ltd. One of Harold McNair`s earliest UK recordings – in fact his first UK solo album. Very rare and highly collectable UK 60`s jazz LP.
Condition sleeve: Laminated front sleeve/white unlaminated back sleeve. Only few wrinkles/bend on upper right corner. Back sleeve has a small writings (blue ballpen) saying “November issue”. All over a very nice sleeve in Excellent (-) condition (UK Record Collector terms).
Condition lables: A a few/light spindlemarks each side; beside this , the labels are in clean/top condition.
Condition vinyl: A few light surface marks on side 1, minor surface marks on side two. Overall in Very Good condition (UK Record Collector terms). Comes with original laminated innerbag in excellent condition (just some light yellowing).
The Quartet is Harold McNair on flute & tenor sax, Bill Le Sage on piano, Tony Carr on drums & Spike Heatley on bass.
