Description
HAROLD McNAIR Flute & nut VINYL LP RCA INTS 1096 British Jazz 1970
Harold McNair sadly made too few lps - He was a superb fluid player who contributed much in the way of session work for British recording artists
( Donovan in Particular) This album from 1970 showcases his exceptional talent Arranged by John Cameron who has had an extraordinary career from working with Donovan, Hot chocolate and his own CCS to arranging Les Miserables ( one of the worlds most succesful musicals)
but here it is really Harold McNair’s flute that, to me, just sounds pretty glorious -
An elusive album now - in great shape
