Description
Columbia 10-inch 78 RPM record # 36838 is "It's Been a Long, Long Time" and "Autumn Serenade" by Harry James and his Orchestra. The song "It's Been a Long, Long Time", with vocals by Kitty Kallen, featured recently in the movie "Avengers Endgame."
"It's Been a Long, Long Time" appears to be in about VG+ or better condition, still nice and shiny, and with very little visible surface wear of any significance. It plays through fine on my turntable, with no skips or jumps, and just lightly audible background noise, with some scattered pops or clicks. The grading of the other side (Autumn Serenade) would be down a notch, with some visible light scratches. Because of variations in tracking ability, filtering technology and needle weights, I can offer no guarantees as to how well it will play on your equipment.
Also included is the Columbia sleeve shown in the pictures, but it is torn and creased and chipped and does not add to the overall value.
