I'm NOT answering questions any more, like "How much is shipping to Absurdistan" or wherever, neither will I respond to inquiries like "Please separate the records from ...". All this stuff can be found on this site by anybody who can read, or at least is willing to do so.

Furthermore a buyer from Russia claimed that he didn't receive his records and he even accused me of NOT having shipped them, so I cling to my new strict INSURANCE POLICY you'll find in the s&h section as well.

Record Condition

Comments : All my records are graded conservatively after international acclaimed GOLDMINE standard. All records are graded visually, not play-tested, except where noted. I NEVER grade a record MINT unless it's in a STILL SEALED cover OR if it comes from my own collection and I KNOW it's UNPLAYED.

Gradings :

Mint : M = See above; only if it's in a STILL SEALED cover.

Near Mint : NM = Looks unplayed and labels show NO signs of use.

Excellent : EX = Looks unplayed but labels show a few spindle marks.

Very Good : VG = Looks great but shows some minor signs of use, like paper scuffs.

Good  : G = Looks like it has seen some heavy play and shows quite some wear.

Fair : F = Looks f..... up and is offered only if impossible to find in better condition.

Comments : All my covers, labels and inners are graded conservatively after international acclaimed GOLDMINE standard. I ALWAYS grade them half a note WORSE than they actually are. I've had too many problems with MOON GRADINGS as a BUYER in my years of collecting.

Bio / Comments : HATFIELD and THE NORTH were an experimental Canterbury, UK scene band that lasted from October 1972 to June 1975, with some reunions thereafter. The band grew out of a line-up of Delivery in mid-1972 consisting of Phil Miller (guitar, from Matching Mole), Steve Miller (†) (keyboards; Phil's brother), Pip Pyle (†) (drums, from Gong) and Richard Sinclair (bass and vocals, from Caravan).

The band played a few live shows that year, but with Steve Miller being replaced by Dave Sinclair (from Matching Mole and Caravan), the band soon changed their name to Hatfield and the North. The Delivery line-up reunited for a BBC session in November 1972 with Steve Miller, Phil Miller, Lol Coxhill, Roy Babbington (bass), Pip Pyle, and Richard Sinclair on vocals. (Steve Miller went on to release a couple of duo albums with Coxhill in 1973/74). Shortly before their first recordings, Richard Sinclair was replaced by Dave Stewart from Egg.

The band recorded two great albums of which this one here is their second and last.

This is a rare UK pressing.
