PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question. OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable.

We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. signed no less by the hand of legendary HAWKWIND Lyricist / Vocalist ROBERT CALVERT ... member of the legendary group from near its inception some 50 years ago ... Taking nothing away from Robert Calvert's creativity, he was a very "out-there" cat; ala,spaced-out in the realms of PINK FLOYD's SYD BARRETT with far-more ENERGY ... .............................................. A ROBERT CALVERTsignature is quite difficult to come by ... especially now, having passsed to "the other side" some 45 years ago. ................................................
Been said: “Calvert was a brilliant rock’n’roll performer and might have been Bowie’s equal given a bit more self-confidence.”
At only 43 Robert Calvert had a sudden heart attack , he believed he was going to save the world. He believed he was an extraordinary person in our midst, and we needed to take advantage of him. But he was flying too high, like Icarus, that was exactly how he felt, constantly being burnt, and one day he was consumed by it.
......... The evening we happened upon Robert Calvert in 1977, he was space-eyed silent in corner of back-stage, after delivering a brilliant energetic stage-show to this very tour program's performance. Requesting his signature, Robert seemed displaced, shy, yet obliged and signed this program not only one, but twice (!) ... see photos. ......... Becoming a member of HAWKWIND in 1971; Calvert’s sci-fi oratory injects an air of menacing theatricality into Hawkwind’s propulsive, cosmic psychedelia... Hawkwind (pre- MOTORHEAD) bassist LEMMY recalled a 10,000 attendance U.K. Hawkwind performance, when Calvert suddenly appeared as "Lawrence Of Arabia" full headdress & garb, manically attacking him with a sword.
Robert Calvert's genius was punctuated by his dillusions & mental hospital stays , yet his writing skills and stage performances cannot be denied.
