I use the record collector grading system of Bad / Poor / Good (G) / Very Good / Excellent / Mint.
Please see below for grading details.
I also use a + or a - for grades that I consider slightly better or worse.
A VG disc on this site will not be is nasty condition like many sellers.
All records are sent out in plastic covers.
HAWKWIND.
SONIC ATTACK.
ORIGINAL 1973 ONE SIDED PROMO 7" SINGLE.
Very rare splattered coloured vinyl.  This is a grail Hawkwind record.
The Record / VG- condition. The disc has some light surface wear and some surface marks. Please see my feedback. 
The record plays with some ticks and clicks in a few areas. As this is not a loud track for most you do notice the pops!!! 
The 45 does not jump but as stated the clicks do stand out. 
The Labels / The A side label has a thin layer of plastic over it that has rippled. This plastic is correct for this promo 45. Sometimes this plastic layer falls off!
The Cloth Cover/ VG condition. This is the original cover, the red printing has faded over time. This is a decent example of this rare cloth cover.  .................................................................................
I USE THE UK GRADING SYSTEM BELOW.
Mint - as new and in perfect condition.
Excellent - A real nice example with light wear only. An EX disc will play great and the cover will be very nice too.
Very Good - The disc will have light surface wear and some light marks. The record will still play very well but may have some surface sound and a little crackle as this is graded as VG. The cover will have some creasing and storage age wear.  The disc and cover will have no very serious faults. A VG disc and cover will also not be perfect!
Good / G condition - The disc will have very visible surface wear and light marks with some deeper marks. The cover will show much age wear and will not be the best example! The record will still play but will have surface sound and ticks etc.
Fair - This will be a tatty example of both disc and cover. The record will play with surface sound and noise. The cover will look tatty from age and storage wear.
Bad / Poor -This will be a badly worn example of both record and cover. The disc may jump or play with much surface sound. I would rarely sell an item like this.
