This record is in near mint condition. It has just 2 very short(4mm) spindle marks visible on the label of side 2 with none visible on side 1. Neither side has pen marks, scuffs, stains or any other issues and overall the labels are clean, bright and in very nice condition with all text legible and very little signs of use.
As for the vinyl itself, both sides are very clean with little showing in normal light. There is the faintest odd smudge or sign of age in places but nothing at all serious, major or obvious. There is a few incredibly faint and very minor sleeve marks/wispy lines showing under very bright light but nothing much and of course nothing remotely sinister. So overall the record free is from anything remotely serious, has a lovely lustre and shows minimal just very signs of use to its playing surfaces.
I play tested the record and it played really well throughout. It lays flat on the deck and upon playing there is little to no arm movement.
The audio produced is excellent throughout with no skips, sticks or tics and generally little to no surface noise. There was maybe the odd most minor trace of a dust splutter in places but nothing at all severe or disruptive. Overall it plays really well and was a pleasure to play test. For a 50 year old classical lp the clarity is excellent with little to no crackling or interference just the most minor occasional light splutter in parts.
The front laminated sleeve is in excellent condition. It has just a minor amount of wear or 'crumpling' to the edges and corners with the writing on the spine still all clearly legible. The sleeve remains solid and there are of course no splits or weak areas. There is also no tears, scuffs or pen marks. There is some creasing in places however. This is at its worst on the front in the top right corner and the rear top left corner. There is a some along the spine and to the rear bottom right corner area. Other than the creasing in parts and light wear on the edges there is also age related grubbiness to the rear. This is not extreme but the white areas have discoloured in places with some age spots or marks showing. There is also a sticker from previous owner towards to the top left corner. Overall not a pristine sleeve but one that is solid and has no major issues, just the creasing in parts and light grubbiness to the rear really. Please study the pictures provided to gain as much information as possible on its condition.
It contains its original blue/white poly-lined inner which is in very good+ condition. It has no splits, tears or pen marks but has creasing, light grubbiness and general signs of age. I will send the record in a brand new plain white replacement to ensure it remains clean and fresh.
The record will be packaged in between cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
