Low starting bid because I love vinyl and I love music,and this is either a duplicate of something already in my collection,something from my collection that I no longer or never did listen to,something I have aquired and do not feel the need to keep,or just"not my cup of tea".Vinyl was made to be spun and loved and I believe it should be in the possession of someone who will appreciate and enjoy it.I believe if it's not being played it's being wasted. Haystacks Balboa were a hard-rock band from Queens in New York City, whose sole eponymous album was released on Polydor in 1970 & featured two songwriting contributions from Larry West, brother of Mountain’s Leslie West. This album has also been issued on CD by Audio Archives under the alternate title ‘Detoxified’.
The hard rock tunes are typical of the time, like Sabbath or Mountain, with backbreaking heavy fuzzy guitars and satanic lyrics. The progressive moments are quite nice, long tracks relying on Hammond organ and guitar interplay with extended instrumental stretches
This is an update on the vinyl condition. There are 3 noticible marks on side 2 that have had me a little concerned,So I listened to the LP through and the good news is I was correct in that they don't affect play and this is a nice playable copy. I heard only 3 or four light clicks here and there on the whole side 2. Play grading this I would upgrade it to VG++ to VG+++. The marks noted are mainly visual. I listened to the LP on a Dennon DP-51F turntable with a middle of the road Grado GF3 cartridge through Grado sR225 headphones.The other good news is that while I listened I created a digital archive of the LP which will be included with the Album.So, bid accordingly to this new info. This album is does not look mint,but it sounds really good.
