originally released in 1957 // 1st press US // not a reissue


This LP was personally signed by Ms. Hazel Scott (1920 - 1981). She was from the West Indies and was a jazz &  classical pianist and singer. She was an outspoken critic of racial discrimination - along with husband Rep. Adam Clayton Powell from Harlem. She used her influence to improve the representation of Black Americans in film.
