Northern soul from small DETROIT label. I am providing an unenhanced, uncleaned up .wav file for you to listen to to decide if you would want this record. Some records look bad but sound good. Some records look great and sound...okay. To me it is "How does it sound" more than it is "How does it look"? I have cleaned this record (imagine that) before uploading it; that is not to say but it may sound better if it is machine cleaned.

I try to conservatively grade by Goldmine standards so as to try to please all potential winners. MINT: Brand new, unplayed. Still Sealed if an album. I rarely use this grade. NEAR MINT (NM): Pretty close to Mint. Shiny luster, no writing or stickers on the labels, No scuffs or sleeve burn or scratches on the record. VERY GOOD+ (VG+):: May have light hairline scratches, light sleeve burn. Labels will have no writing or stickers on them, maybe some light ring wear. VERY GOOD (VG): Could be a VG+ with some exceptions. Labels may have writing or stickers on one side, heavier ring wear. May need some cleaning. Will definitely have been played alot; will have hairline scratches, sleeve burn and/or paper scuffs. Most scratches will be superficial. Should sound good at a lower volume with some hissing, clicks and/or occasional pops. Record will play through both sides unless noted.

VERY GOOD MINUS (VG-): Will have at least a couple of defects such as scratches, heavy scuffing, heavy noise but will still play through. Labels may have writing and/or stickers on them. Will need some cleaning. GOOD: This would be a "starter" record until you can get a better copy. Not a good record to play. May or may not play without skipping. Lots of scratches, scuffs, sleeve burns. Labels would have writing and/or stickers on them, may have torn or missing parts of the label(s). Thank you for reading this!!
