Description
Escorts (Do’s And The Don’ts)-The Wobble Drum/On Top Of Old Smokey (Fredlo 6403) VG+ with some marks plays M-.
1964 3-chord melodic Rocker with gimmick drum fill effect throughout. B-side is cool stop-time 3-chord rocking’ version of familiar song (which is thankfully hard to recognize—very cool unlikely remake!).
Don't be fooled by the two goofy titles--this is actually a really good early '60s pair of rockers!
Their first single and band features guitarist Roger Booth. Note: Band later turned into the Do’s And The Don’ts who also cut 3 singles from 1966-1968.
BAY NO LONGER SUPPORTS ADDING AUDIO CLIPS FROM YOUTUBE ON THEIR LISTINGS.
However, you can hear both "The Wobble Drum" on Youtube.
Note: I recently picked up an astonishing once-in-a-lifetime stash of 175 clean Minnesota/Midwest ‘60s discs from a Duluth MN DJ who kept them in storage for 45 years. So for all you fans of 45s from the Twin Cities, Iron Range, and Tom Tourville’s enlightening books, be sure to check out my current eBay auction of regional 45s.
