Two different worlds on one cool local
1966 45. "Things We Said Today" is an
instrumental version of the Beatles LP cut,
with huge power chords, some mod organ,
and one of the longest false endings you'll
ever find. It has everything but vocals, which
is fine with me.
Fans of wyld garage might not like
"Reaching For The Sun", but those who
like their garage on the moody side will
find lots to like... including a steal of the
Hondells' organ break in "Younger Girl".
Check it out! This was about a year &
a half before their mod classic "Calamity Jane",
released under the name The Raven.
