This is an original 1961 reel-to-reel tape from a Florida recording studio that specialized in song poem recordings.
True to form, 29 of the 30 songs on here were written by amateurs and put to music/sung/played by a group of
Florida professionals. The one exception is "Just Call My Name" by a duo, Bob Edwards & Gregg Allman.
There was time in the studio on October 4, 1961 after sessions by Charles Vickers and Betty Jayne, so Gregg and
his friend had a chance to lay down this track. One try, no overdubbing.
No one had any idea at the time that the Gregg and brother Duane Allman would become superstars a few years later.
So alongside song-poems such as "Snoopy" (sung by Betty Jayne), "Fun On The Bayou" (sung by Vickers) and the immortal
"Rock-Rock-Rockabye Trail", a bit of history was being made... and this is the original tape on which it happened.
Please note: this is not a record. It is an original reel-to-reel tape.

Important note: More and more packages sent overseas are getting hung up
in customs. It is not unusual for some packages to take 6-8 weeks to reach buyers,
even though they're being sent out within a day or two of payment.
Germany, France, Italy, Greece, and Australia have all reported longer than
usual customs delays. Please be patient -- I mail packages out very quickly,
but the rest is up to the postal service!
