Description
Very cool first pressing with the RL in the dead wax and also AT on both sides, Sterling stamp. Thick and very heavy disc from Presswell, as I believe most of the these first run promos were. Audiophile quality and only played a handful of times. There is unfiltered audio at the bottom of the page. It's not a dead quiet pressing, but it's very crisp and unplayed and beings it's pressed by Ludwig at Sterling, there's no lack of punch here. Check out the long sample below. Using a newer Grado on an old Sansui direct drive.
Some sparse paper scuff from being checked out a few times. The hottest and baddest of the analog pressings, about 1/4 inch of dead wax on either side. Loosely considered one of the best of the best records put on vinyl… this is the one. The marriage of rock and the state of the art in production and vinyl technology… and then the bonus of being a first press first RUN promo from the best plates, which were always sent to PRESSWELL… where the promos were made. Thanks for looking and for appreciating the hunt for things like this!
