JASCHA HEIFETZ
BACH UNACCOMPANIED SONATAS AND PARTITAS ( COMPLETE )
I recently bought the entire collection from
a retired record company executive.
They date back to the late 1950's and include many SXL, ASD,
SAX, DGG, Philips HI-FI Stereo
and other obscure labels which I will be listing
over the coming weeks.
I play all my records in their entirety and do not
sample (i.e. guess) how they might sound
That is my GUARANTEE
The catalogue number is LM 6105 and was released in 1960.
This is a US first pressing on the shaded dog RCA record label
and comes with its original RCA inners in N/M condition.
Not an easy set to grade over 3 records. Firstly there are no repetitive tics or clicks, jumps or repeats
but there are very occasional statics, more than likely caused by dust in the grooves.
This did not diminish the pleasure I got from this historic recording.
