This is a rare demo version of a song from Heinz released in 1966. The title is ‘Movin’ in’ and the production credit states ‘Meeksville Sound’ which I assume, as with his earlier releases, was produced by the legendary Joe Meek.

 

A visual grading of this record shows hardly any surface marks but when played there is a very slight distortion on the vocals and electric guitar – although this may be a result of the ‘raw’ Joe Meek production!

 

Comes in a fairly tidy original Columbia company sleeve.
