Description
Well, this is an odd one. One of America's greatest Jazz singers, backed up by Jazz Cats, like Jo Jones, Milt Hinton, Mundell Lowe, & George Divivier taking a shot at American Country Songs. Weird but true. In 1959, Atco released a small run in mono and stereo versions. Not a great seller, was never reissued again except for a couple of Japanese pressing in the 1980's. This is the original mono deep groove pressing. The record is NM, pristine, looks like new and sounds as clean as a whistle. Cover is overall clean and crisp, but does have a tiny pin punch (early cutout mark) in the upper right corner and some edge paper wear with a small peace of clear tape on the upper left corner.
