HELEN MERRILL "Helen Merrill" Original 1955 press on EmArcy, MG 36006 'Drummer' label. I have listened very closely to this album in it's entirety. The overall condition of this album is VG-. There are some surface marks both sides, most light and superficial. There is a cluster of surface marks on track A#3 that produces the most surface noise (VG--) and also at the very beginning of the LP. Some tracks play closer to VG while others VG--, with a few clicks and one or two pops on each side of the LP. Overall still a very enjoyable listening experience. Being a delicate recording with lots of quieter passages, it's easy to grade. Hope this description helps.
