HELEN MERRILL same ORIGINAL DUTCH LP
Extremely rare original first Dutch pressing on the Emarcy label from 1955. Heavy vinyl with big drummer label and the fully laminated cover. Thinner cover compared to the US version.
Condition:
The thin and flimsy laminated cover is in VG+ condition and the record is in EX condition.
Original printed Emarcy innersleeve is included.

According to me one of the most essential female vocal jazz session , HELEN MERRILL only released a few albums but this one is just a jazz dream, very mellow vocal jazz session with essential solist backing CLIFFORD BROWN on trumpet, CLARK TERRY on trumpet, JIMMY JONES on piano, OSCAR PETITFORD on bass and QUINCY JONES as arranger. They play jazz classics in the best vein "don't explain" yesterdays "what's new" and more, this LP is a jazz must have.
