Hello and welcome. Here is what you're bidding on: TITLE & ARTIST: "Helen Merrill" - by Helen Merrill on the Japan EmArcy Records label (EXPR-1038) in wonderfully clear original monaural sound, recorded in 1955 and released in this Japanese pressing circa 1975. CONDITION: JACKET - VG++(Light price sticker wear; small saw cut in lower right corner, but no marks, tears or splits; it's a treasure); VINYL - VG+/VG++ (The clear and bright vinyl has some very light scuffs and some other marks that might create a light pop on a track or two - Visually Graded). SPECIAL FEATURES: A rare jazz vocal album by one of the premier female jazz singers of the 20th Century; Merrill is accompanied by Oscar Pettiford, Jimmy Jones and Clifford Brown; back cover includes liner notes and photos from the session; arrangements by Quincy Jones. SS (Still Sealed as from the factory); NM (Near Mint - our highest grade; the vinyl has only a very few light marks that do not affect play); VG++ (Very Good Plus Plus - a few more light marks than Near Mint; still a great record that plays near perfectly); VG+ (Very Good Plus - an enjoyable, played and loved, obviously used but still listenable record, usually with some light pops, but free of major audible distraction; jacket may be lightly worn, slightly dinged, even very lightly split, but NEVER trashed); VG (Very Good) and below - we usually do NOT sell these, but if we have some good reason to offer such a record, we will explain completely).
