Description
A excellent condition example of the original 1965 UK reel to reel 3 & 3/4 ips mono tape release of "Help !" by The Beatles complete with the two page "Emitape" leaflet, the warranty slip, and the small green and gold Parlophone logo sticker. Cat No TA-PMC-1255.
Clean, no split corners to lid, untorn inlay tray, clearly printed white leader tape and red trailing tape, no pen markings/writing or stains, inside of cover lid and base lid clean.
Pink star tax code to rear top left of base, old style Parlophone logo printed to bottom left of base. The tax code indicator shows that the item was returned to EMI for purchase tax credit, when unsold, and resold later by another retailer. (Stock was provided on a sale or return basis). An indication of how rare these reel to reels were, even in their day.
Even the green and gold Parlophone logo circular sticker and tape retaining white sticker are present. The reverse of the Emitape spool does have small crack but is barely discernable, and I will include an extra, empty original Emitape spool.
Played and tested - perfect. Emitape leaflet and warranty slip as new. Rare in this complete condition.
