Description
Reluctant sale from my own personal collection is this first masterpiece from the Jimi Hendrix Experience called Are You Experienced. FIRST MONO PRESSING on Track Cat No 612001 with A1 / B1 matrix numbers. Laminated front and non laminated back sleeve made by Ernest J Day & Co Ltd. This brilliant record plays superbly all the way through with less surface noise than I have had from brand new Lp's, which is quite remarkable considering this record is 38 years old. I would grade the vinyl an excellent minus due to there being a faint tick between tracks 1 and 2 on side 2. There are a few surface scratches evident under a strong light but these are non sounding and as I have said this record sounds great, with no pops, ticks or distortion other than what I have mentioned. The thick quality vinyl is nice and flat and the labels are still clean and bright. There are quite a few spindle marks showing that the record has been well played but you will not be dissapointed with the sound of this fantastic Lp at all. The sleeve I would grade as very good plus. There are no rips, tears, writing or laminate lift. Only a few small surface creases to the front caused by handling and some very slight discolouration to the non laminated rear. This album is a true grounbreaking masterpiece and becoming very scarce in this sort of condition especialy a mono first pressing. Please take a look at my feed back and bid with confidence as I do my best to honestly grade all the items I sell as I know how dissapointing and irritating it is to receive an item which doesn't match its description. Please see also my other Hendrix items that I am listing. Thanks for looking and please email if you have any further questions.
