On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Jimi Hendrix called 'Band Of Gypsys' and is an ORIGINAL 1970 UK 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Track label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!! THIS IS ONE OF JIMI HENDRIXES RAREST EVER LPS AND BARELY EVER TURNS UP LIKE THIS (MOST LOOK TERRIBLE)!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT IT IS IMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT THIS LP WAS ONLY EVER PRESSED WITH THIS 1ST PRESS 'PUPPET' COVER FOR A VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF TIME - BEFORE THE SLEEVE WAS CHANGED TO THE STANDARD (AND MUCH MORE COMMON) 'ISLE OF WIGHT' COVER!!!! AS A RESULT IT IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND A GENIUNE 1970 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION!!!! THIS IS THE 1970 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS TRACK LABEL, 1ST PRESS A1/B1 MATRIX ENDINGS, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE, AND ULTRA RARE 1ST PRESS 'PUPPET' COVER!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the original Track UK 1st pressing from 1970 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is 2406 002 on the 1st Press Track label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo 1st pressing!!!! The record comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve whit only a split on edge and residue tape ribbon mark.
CONDITION VINYL
RECORD LABEL The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks . EX+++
VISUAL GRADING The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has a 1 scratche/scufflines, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the VERY lightest paper scuffs on side B only visible under EXTREME light!!!! Excellent
SOUND QUALITY The record plays brillant with NO sticking, NO jumps, NO repeat, only a few VERY light pops and only some absolute ULTRA low level touches of barely audible background sound on the run on grooves and into the scratche described above !!!! But certainly nothing that detracts from the overall IMPRESSIVE sound quality of the album. It plays simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! The record must grade Very Good+++ if not better and plays BRILLIANTLY!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT Record Collector grading standards.
CONDITION OUTER SLEEVE
The ULTRA RARE 1st Press 'Puppet' Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! The cover has NO edge wear, NO split, NO spinal wear (apart from missing 2nd 'S' of 'GYPSYS' title due at the TINY scuffs) , only a few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), NO ringwear, NO rubbing, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, NO ringwear, NO rubbing and NO writing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not better - and is EXTREMELY hard to find in this condition!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
