For sale is the "BAND OF GYPSYS" rare vinyl lp by JIMI HENDRIX. Released on Capitol records..on the 'short-lived' lime green label, it shows as item #STAO 472, and is from 1970. 

Recorded LIVE New Years' Eve '69-'70 at the Fillmore East in New York, this is a FIRST pressing mastered by Robert (Bob) Ludwig. Sterling & RL are etched in the 'dead wax' at the end of each side. The album features Buddy Miles on drums / vocals and Billy Cox on bass, and, of course, Jimi Hendrix on guitar & vocals.

This highly collectable Hendrix offering plays beautifully & comes in its' original gatefold cover.  You'd be hard-pressed to find this LP in any better condition...so don't even try, just pick this copy up now and be the proud owner of a Hendrix masterpiece that is quickly becoming more scarce with each passing day.  

It will be shipped with its' own clear protector sheet, while the vinyl will have a new poly-lined inner sleeve. Also, this record will be mailed in a heavy-duty mailer, reinforced with heavy cardboard to help protect your investment.

RECORD GRADING:

1) SS = Sealed / Still Sealed; unopened, unplayed.

2) M = Mint; like new; open, played just a few times.

3) M- = Mint Minus (or 'Near Mint' / NM); almost like new, not flawless, but very nice. Only a very rare tic or pop & no skips, little to no background noise.

4) EX = Excellent (= 'VG++'): has some marks or scratches but few and just lite; an occasional tick or pop; very occasional slight background noise w/ no skips.

5) VG+ = 'used but not abused' (Very Good Plus): more lite marks & a few lighter and/or smaller scratches; some noise, mostly just background. the music still predominates, still, no skips.

6) VG = Very Good; much-enjoyed used record; will have some scratches: mostly lite but a couple could be deeper; a bit more noise in a few spots could be equal to the music at times, should not skip, but there is still a slight possibility.

7) G = Good; very used: probably still playable but; will have more scratches than VG and some deep scratches and will play with noise most or nearly all of the time; probably won't skip or stick, but not guaranteed against skips or sticks -- sold 'As Is'

8) F or P = Fair or Poor; record will be unplayable with excess noise, deep scratches, skips, sticks, etc.; generally bought for cover only; sold 'As Is'
