ORIGINAL SOUTH AFRICAN PRESSING on IRC (ICC 8007) from the early 1970’s. RARE SOUTH AFRICAN PSYCH POP / TEEN BEAT LP which includes a KILLER FUNKY VERSION of the ALAN HAWKSHAW / THE MOHAWKS classic track THE CHAMP, here titled THE CHAMP / COOL (mixing two different tracks into one is a common feature of South African LPs). SUPERB PSYCHEDELIC COVER ART. Check the soundclip for a taste (NOTE: I made the soundclip from the copy being auctioned). RARE LP.
Vinyl is in VG+ condition (there is a small pen writting on one of the labels). Textured flipback sleeve is in VG condition (front cover has a red label with the previous owner’s name on it, general wear, light staining and a 9 cm / 3.5 inch split on the middle of the bottom seam. LOOKS GOOD).
