HENRY FRANKLIN: "THE SKIPPER" LP - On the BLACK JAZZ label, catalog number is BJQD/7.   Original 1972 stereo/quadraphonic pressing!  NOT A REISSUE.  From the legendary Black Jazz label.  Includes "Plastic Creek Stomp" & "Beauty And The Electric Tub".  The personnel:  Henry Franklin/leader, Fender and upright bass; Bill Henderson/electric piano; Mike Carvin/drums; Oscar Brasheer/trumpet and flugelhorn; Charles Owens/tenor and soprano saxophones; Kenny Climax/guitar and electric tub; Fred Lido and Tip Jones/percussion.  The vinyl is in NM condition (beautiful sheen).  The textured cardboard cover is in excellent shape, still protected by the cellophane shrink wrap, displays nicely.  There is some slight mildew/dirt/moisture wrinkling at bottom left corner only.  No seam splits, no writing, no cut-out marks.  The songs are:  Outbreak; Plastic Creek Stomp; Theme For Jojo; Beauty And The Electric Tub; Little Miss Laurie; The Skipper.
