Description

original 1968 U.S. stereo press of LP on Straight label
Judy Henske & Jerry Yester titled "Farewell Aldebaran"
comes complete with custom 'Straight' inner sleeve
CONDITION:
heavy gatefold cover: VG+(+)
clean & sharp ~ tiny wear/fraying to corners
(tiny bump to lower right corner) upper edge has
small seam split at opening edge ~ approx. 2"
vinyl: Excellent
super clean with high gloss ~ no visible marks or scratches
~ looks totally blemish free & plays excellent with just an
odd occasional soft click here & there
from Joynson's psych reference "Fuzz, Acid & Flowers"
...in1969 Yester made the above album with his wife, Judy Henske,
a traditional folk singer with a long recording career in her own right.
The album which was released on Frank Zappa's label,
is excellent and worthy of acclaim. Ry Cooder and David Lindley also
probably play on it. Subsequently Yester and Henske formed a band
called Rosebud with Craig Doerge, David Vaught and John Seiter,
cutting an album of the same name in 1971.
