"Hands Off She's Mine" was a pleasure to play-grade. Swingin' dance beat augmented most vociferously by a full-throated, baritone-sax heavy horn section. Clever & celebratory reworking of the riff from the Vandella's "Heatwave," topped off with girl group-style harmonies. With its messy, garage-worthy production, this platter helps give Beach Music a good name. (Hands Off She's Mine b/w If I Pray - Buddy Records B 100). Philadelphia label.

CONDITION OF LABEL: Vintage black-on-orange Buddy Records logo. No marks, stains, tears, stickers or cuts on label. Print is sharp, unfaded & colorful. The two very faint label rings on each side have no tears, abrasions or fraying. Spindle hole is in very good condition.

CONDITION OF DISC: Record has no skips or deep scratches. The platter surface has a mildly abraised look, but the grooves have held up well. No sign of warping. Play grading reveals just a small amount of surface noise that rermains at a constant low level with no loud ticks. In this condition, I enjoyed this record immensely. I do not believe you will find this a serious detriment to your listening pleasure. I grade the label as E+ ("Excellent-Plus") & the disc as E- ("Excellent-Minus").

E+ = Excellent +, Record shows very light wear, should play like new.

E = Excellent, Record shows light scratches/scuffs which should NOT be audible when played.

E- = Excellent -, Record shows light scratches and scuffs that MAY be audible.

V+ = Very Good +, Record shows moderate scratches and scuffs or wear that WILL be audible.

V = Very Good, Record shows moderate/heavy scratches and scuffs that WILL be audible and MAY be substantial.

V- =Very Good -, Record shows considerable scratches and wear. Good for a fill-in until a better copy turns up.

P = Poor, What can I say! Record is in poor condition, plays very rough. We will only offer P condition items if they are extremely rare or unusual.
