Description
Greetings and salutations. You are bidding on a used copy of the 2nd pressing of Herbie Hancock's album "Empyrean Isles."
This item was purchased by me from a local record store approximately 5 years ago The record has been played several times since then and is in VG condition. There are a surface scuffs and a handful a more pronounced scuffs but the play quality is good with occasional pops and clicks inherent in older pressing like this. No skips upon complete playthrough. The labels still look great with no writing or discoloration. The vinyl still has a great luster, but the flaws will be noticeable to the naked eye.
The cover was housed in a 3rd party outer sleeve and has edge and corner wear, surface scuffing and a subtle bend with no crease at the top horizontal edge. There is a slight amount of ring wear of and slight seam splitting on the edges. There is some slight yellowing on the back but there is no writing on the cover. I will therefore grade this in VG condition.
This record was lovingly kept vertically in a non-smoking home with no pets and low humidity.
