Description
Here is a great Herbie Hancock album featuring Tony Williams, Ron Carter, and Freddie Hubbard. Mono original with "ear" in deadwax. Cover is not that great...creasing, tape on top seam, bottom seam has wear, and there is some tears on the front as well. Not terrible and nothing really nasty like mold or water damage at least! Vinyl is visually quite clean with just a few tiny scuffs visible under bright light. This is a LOUD album and has been mastered hot...the drums, piano, and bass all sound killer but occasionally there is some audible groove wear when Freddie blows particularly hard. I have not heard this on a mono cartridge so I have no idea whether a mono cartridge might improve this problem or not? Anyway it's not that bad but if you are an audiophile then probably best to stay away.
