HERBIE HANCOCK:   BLUE NOTE Records (Mfd in the USA in the late 60's--I think)  MAIDEN VOYAGE  - Original Vinyl Album---Not a Recent Reissue   -  This is a very unusual Pressing.  It's the BIEM mark on the Labels that make this different;  I haven't been able to find out anything on the Web about this one.  It wasn't made in France.  Was it made by LIBERTY to Export to Europe around 1970?  I just don't know.  It's a strange one.  The Cover appears to have been printed in the USA, and the Vinyl Record looks like was also made in the USA with BN/LIBERTY Stampers.  The etchings in the Matrix look like authentic BLUE NOTE markings.  The Matrix Numbers are:   SIDE A (hand etched) BNST-84195.A, with a small machine stamped VAN GELDER;   SIDE B  (hand etched) BNST-84195.B, with a small machine stamped VAN GELDER.  I tried to take good Pictures of them, but couldn't.  I've posted the best I could do, but at least you can see what the markings look like.  I've been selling BLUE NOTES for years, and the markings all look like USA Stamper marks;  they don't have the "Ear" Marks.  The Cover is in overall Fine+ Condition;  there is only very light shelf wear and some small wear marks (or dents) at the tips of the Corners (which you can see in the Pictures).  No Bends, no Creases, no Splits, no Writing, no Holes, no Stains.  The Labels are clean and New on both Sides.   The Vinyl Record is the thick 180gm type used in the mid-60's;  it definitely isn't that thin vinyl made in the early '70's.  There are some very light scuffs;  it looks VG++.  SIDE A plays a Strong VG++ and Better.  SIDE B plays Almost New/New.  It's been played very few times.  I've posted some Audio Clips from both Sides of this Album, starting with Side 1.  Just click on the BIG MICROPHONE Icon and listen for yourself.  CRANK IT UP!  I can ship this anywhere in the USA via Media Rate for 4.00.  This can ship to most Overseas Countries via First Class Mail for around $24.00;   please note that eBay has started collecting Customs/Duty Taxes from most Overseas Buyers and there is nothing that Sellers can do about it.   Shipping to Canada will cost $19.00.  First Class Shipping to Japan, South Korea, Australia, and Russia will cost $26.00.  I can only get to the Post Office once or twice a week,  so please be patient.  I can combine items for multiple wins and lower shipping.   PLEASE READ THIS:   If bidding on this reaches $50-$120, and it goes to a non-US Buyer,  it will have to ship via Registered Mail in addition to First Class Postage,  but I'll pay $8.00 of the $16.00 Registered Mail fee;  Registered Mail is a little slower than 1st Class Mail,  but it's more dependable,  and it does provide a Tracking Number and some Insurance.   If it sells for $120-$500, and it goes to a non-USA Buyer,  it will have to ship AIR PRIORITY,  which runs around $50;  I’ll have to Insure it myself,  and will have to declare full sales value on the packing slip for Insurance purposes.  If it sells for over $500 and it goes to a non-USA Buyer,  it will have to ship via EXPRESS MAIL,  which run around $90-$130.  No reserve.  Good luck!
