Herbie Hancock (piano), Donald Byrd (trumpet), Grachan Moncur III (trombone), Hank Mobley (tenor sax), Grant Green (guitar), Chuck Israels (bass), Anthony Williams (drums)

Classic RARE 1963 LP on Blue Note Records, Herbie's second album, with an absolutely stellar lineup of players doing five of Herbie's funky-ass compositions.

Original 1960s blue/white Liberty label (NOT a recent reissue), Stereo BST 84126, heavy vinyl, not deep groove, VAN GELDER stamped in dead wax. Really beautiful copy here, the deep stereo mix sounds fantastic!!

ITEM CONDITION

JACKET: VG++/EX (Stunning - looks almost new, just a tiny bit of softening at the corners and a little rubbing wear along the top seam. No splits or writing anywhere.)

VINYL: VG++ (Clean and shiny! Some very light sleeve scuffs and a couple of small needle marks - but nothing that can be felt. Labels and holes look perfect, barely played. Sound is deep and crystal clear from start to finish!)
