JOHN LANCHBERY LA FILLE MAL GARDEE
Issue : UK 1st PRESS Label : DECCA Catalogue No : SXL 2313
Matrix : ZAL 5483-2E / ZAL 5484-3E
This UK 1st press is on the black Decca label. It is complete with the very earliest ZAL 5483-2E / ZAL 5484-3E matrix, the earliest wide band Decca label, the original polylined Decca inner sleeve and laminated MacNeill press sleeve.
The vinyl is in Excellent condition. It has a sensational gloss, every track looks suberb. There are a couple of the very faint hairlines but these are insignificant, it is in superb condition. The label is exceptionally bright and completely clean. The black is solid and unworn, the text is sharp and there is only the slightest spindle wear.
The vinyl lies completely flat on the turntable and from the moment it begins it is exceptionally rich and vibrant. Superb clarity and separation throughout.
The laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The cover image is still superb, very clear and sharp. The text is unworn and the colours are bright. The back is perfect, exceptionally clean and bright. There are just a few little indentations on the front and the slightest ring wear on the back, otherwise this sleeve wouls be Near Mint. The whole sleeve has it original light sheen and is still extremely solid.586 (GS 6.8 (586))
