Description
'Pastoral' sums up this album perfickly. Natural country sounds and birdsong can be heard between tracks, and even gently infiltrate some of the songs. In a just world, Heron would have been very big, with great songwriting, superb harmony singing, and exquisite musicianship
The gatefold sleeve is VG+. Made from unlaminated textured card, it is vulnerable to wear, and indeed the top and bottom edges and spine are showing some rubbing. There is no creasing to the front or rear, but some light browning is showing in places. The inner gatefold has a few light age spots, otherwise is very clean The insert is clean, with one light crease to the top left corner.
Most of the vinyl is EX but I have downgraded it due to one obvious defect. Side 1 Track 1 has a scratch which starts halfway through the song, and fades out near the start of track 2. DOH! Otherwise the rest of the vinyl is virtually unmarked, and crackle-free. The labels are unmarked, and clean
