SLEEVE Standard Apple glossy sleeve only in GOOD condition due to creasing and a couple of splits on the sides. ________
General Description A strange looking beast, perhaps the only one of its kind. Would make an excellent gift for any Beatles fan or record collector.
Background Info "Hey Jude" was the first single issued on The Beatles own Apple label (although it was allocated a Parlophone catalogue number for contractual reasons). It was officially released on 26 August 1968 having been recorded a month earlier. It was Number 1 in the UK charts for only 2 weeks but for 9 weeks in the USA, and worldwide sales were reported as nearly 6 million by November 1968.
