This is as fine as “easy listening” gets, the sound to die for, Paul Mauriat’s arrangements for his orchestra without peer.
My favorite US Merc/Philips release, this is Mauriat’s LOVE IS BLUE, which features the title song (which is lush, large and spacious in its recording), together with PENNY LANE, THIS IS MY SONG, THERE’S A KIND OF HUSH, PUPPET ON A STRING (fabulous!), and ADIEU A LA NUIT, among others.
Terrific fare, that will sate the most ardent audiophile appetite, here in a cover without fault; the preferred Mercury pressing within is still within its plastic bag, unopened, mint.
Not to be missed.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
