Like Janis Ian and Joni Mitchell, Suzanne Vega does not miss anything in the studio. Her stuff is produced wonderfully, and sounds it. In fact, at the proper volume, she is right there in your room singing to you, the arrangements often very hard hitting.

This is among my favorite releases of hers, offering up great audiophile stuff in MARLENE ON THE WALL, SMALL BLUE THING, UNDERTOW, KNIGHT MOVES, THE QUEEN AND THE SOLDIER, and CRACKING.

A great album, cover with hints of edge beginning; otherwise, very clean and smart. Within, is a platter that should play near mint, just has non-intrusive rubber mat scuffs on one side. (Made when you take an LP off a hard mat before it is done spinning.)

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
