Make no mistake, Stokowski, during his tenure with the Houston Symphony Orchestra, delivered some of the finest sounding selections in all of classical repertory on LP.
This is his very fine Bartok, delivered with aplomb, and captured in a manner that will spark any hi-fi system worth its salt.
The second press of the original Everest release, this Silverback cover has a seam split up top of about 4 inches. Inside, the heavy Belock platter is in near-mint shape.
Not to be missed. Very fine performance, with great sound.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $5, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
